BBC Snooker.

As a departure from the well-trodden ‘ball-hitting-ball’ snooker sequences, Camouflage wanted to achieve a more abstract, inventive concept.

The challenge then was to stretch the BBC’s available budget, intended for a traditional motion graphics offering, to a full 3D sequence using Fluid Dynamic throughout.

After a short R&D phase, the decision was made to use the first version of ByFrost in 3DSMax for the fluids effects. This workflow proved to be a lot more robust than first envisaged and the final sequence was delivered on time, on budget and with wonderful results.
